CAMP KALEIDOSCOPE
Since 2002, Camp Kaleidoscope, a daytime summer camp, has been serving foster and at-risk youth and their families. Camp K provides love, hope, and healing to our most vulnerable youth while creating and nurturing connections with agencies and individuals in our community.
THE HOMEPLACE
The Homeplace, an emergency shelter and diagnostic center, serves children as they enter or exit the foster care system by providing a home-like environment for short-term residential stays. Appropriate community resources are utilized while a comprehensive assessment of each child and his or her family is compiled. The goal is to identify services that can be wrapped around the family in a meaningful and effective way.
WHAT WE DO
KCFS believes in the resiliency of children and families. We seek to provide an environment that promotes healing. We believe in the potential of the individual, and in the strength of relationships. The community is a vital partner in all aspects of our operations. We believe in transparency and accountability, and strive to maintain the highest degrees of professional competency, cultural sensitivity, and human compassion.
